I love scarfs. Since beginning to crochet I’ve just wanted to make scarves and scarves and scarves. Also since learning to crochet I don’t think I’ve made a single thing for myself. I got this really nice multi-colored yarn for my birthday a few months ago and decided to put it to use in a scarf for myself. I love the way it turned out and the brown goes really nicely with one of my winter jackets.
Winter time also means hockey season! Being close to Toronto there are a lot of Toronto Maple Leaf fans around and since his dad swears he’s going to be in the NHL, it’s never too early to start getting my kid into hockey. At first I thought I wanted to make a helmet looking hat but then I just decided to do a regular beanie with ear flaps and add a little leaf to keep with the theme. Continue reading “Hockey Hat”
