I’ve always loved the look of these braided crochet scarves. They look so warm and cozy. I wanted to make a nice neutral piece to go with outfits for the transition from winter to spring.
So I hopped on my Pinterest and remembered I had this pinned a long time ago on my crochet-to-do list. That’s why I always pin stuff I like! You never know when it will come in handy. 🙂
The pattern for this scarf is courtesy of The Snugglery and the yarn I used was Loops and Threads Charisma in the colour Taupe. I also made this triangle scarf last summer from The Snugglery. It’s nice when you find designers you like and you know you can keep going back to them for awesome creations.
I found the scarf to be a little too small when I first made it, so I took it apart and added another few inches on rather than starting the whole thing from scratch.
The braiding is a little tricky, but if you know how to do a basic braid, it’s really easy once you get going!
I absolutely love the look and texture of the crochet rows in a braid. This scarf is so soft and cozy. It goes perfectly with a casual tee and a pair of jeans for my weekend errands.
Thanks to Michelle for this cute pattern and thank you for visiting! You can check out other scarves I’ve made here.
