Destiny Pillow

Calling all Destiny fans! When I first came across Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn, I thought it would be perfect to make some new cushion covers for our home.  Then I found this really neat pillow pattern idea on their site, designed by Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me.  After a bit of brainstorming, I knew the Destiny logo would be the perfect addition to our “Game Room” at home, so I got to work on designing a graph to surprise my boyfriend. (He loves it by the way!) 🙂

I absolutely LOVE this yarn.  It’s almost like t-shirt yarn but it’s a solid strand as opposed to being open on one side.  It’s so easy to work with because it never snags.  Then once your project is done it’s so soft, squishy and stretchy, and it will never pill.  I’ve already made a basket, another pillow and I have a few projects in my queue waiting to be hooked.

I also think that graphs are so much fun to crochet.  The best part about doing it on a pillow is you don’t need to tie in any ends because they’re all hidden inside.  Anyone who has made a project with a lot of color changes knows this pain..  am I right?!

If you would like this pillow, or the pattern for the Destiny logo graph, they are both available in my Etsy shop!  I hope you have as much fun with this yarn as I did. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
