I don’t really have any good way of introducing this project. I think the bunny cuteness speaks for itself! But I will say, aren’t these freaking ADORABLE?! ❤
You know when you see those projects you just HAVE to make, no matter what you may have on the go, whether or not you have the right materials already? You will buy the pattern, research and go buy the yarn and start it asap. That’s how I felt when I saw these slippers from Two Girls Patterns on Etsy. They were so cute, I honestly couldn’t resist.
Just look at their cute little eyes and fuzzy little tails!
I couldn’t help myself. Okay, I’m done now.. onto the details!
I made these cute little guys using:
Loops & Thread Impeccable in White, Purple and black (for the sole, slipper, tail and eyes)
Red Heart Super Saver in Pale Plum (for the bows)
Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice in Pink (for the nose)
I think if I made another pair of these, I would use a different yarn for the body only because I find the lighter colors of Loops and Threads Impeccable to be thinner than the darker ones. Grey or brown would have been a nice choice because they have a bit more plushness to them.
The pattern I purchased was amazing! Lots of pictures for guidance and very easy to follow. It comes with every women’s shoe size so there is no guessing or adapting to be done. I also purchased the baby Lion Slippers and the Jake Loafers to make for my son, which I can’t wait to get started on.
Hope you enjoyed this post and I highly recommend checking out Two Girls Patterns. Everything they have is so cute and creative and they have a good deal if you buy more than one pattern. (Good luck with restricting yourself to one any way! lol)
