Rustic Cappelletti Scarf

I know this project has an odd name, but there is logic to my weirdness!  This pattern is actually called the Rustic Fringe Infinity Scarf from one of my favorite blogs, Little Monkey’s Crochet.  I got some Woolspun yarn for Christmas and loved this pattern as well, so I got to work right away.  As I was working and the colors were changing, the orange and red reminded me of pasta sauce, and the unique pattern of the SC + DC in the stitches kind of look like cappelletti noodles to me.  So I’ve just been calling it my cappelletti scarf.  Weird? Yes.  But I kind of like it that way.

I love Lion Brand’s Wool Spun, which was also used for the Triple Luxe Cowls I made from All About Ami.  This particular color is called “Mesa Print” and it’s a nice blend of red, orange, gold, grey, and beige.

I love the look and feel of this scarf.  Although a solid color would have shown the 4 sections a little better, I’m still happy with how this turned out.  I used 2 grey buttons and 2 black button to finish it off.

I bought this pattern along with a series of E-Books by Little Monkey’s Crochet and I am so happy with my purchase!  I love all of these patterns and have made quite a few of them so far.  Stay tuned for more posts on them and go check out the Etsy Shop where you can get them yourself! You’ll want to make them all.
