I wanted something small to hold one or two projects at a time so I went on the hunt for a tote bag pattern. I found the yarn for this before the pattern but I think it turned out awesome. And the best part? I uses less than 1 skein!
That’s a whole tote bag for less than $5.00 along with the pleasure of making it. You can’t get much better than that! 🙂
I found the pattern through a search on Ravelry but I skipped the felting. It surprisingly fits A LOT inside. When working on my latest project, it held 7 (partial) skeins of yarn, my hook case and the project itself.
I love the effect in the yarn and how it turned out wit this stitch. It looks like real zebra stripes. The yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in Zebra and I found a really cool review here that shows you different way that this yarn shows up when done in different stitches and patterns.
