Nana Slippers

I made these for my Nana for Christmas this year and she loved them!

It always makes me feel good making something for my Nana because she is always overly impressed and seems to take genuine interest in the things I do.  She has also taught me 90% of what I know about sewing, crafting and baking so I love being able to give her things she has helped me learn.  Although my Nana has never knit or crocheted so it’s also nice being able to give her things she hasn’t taught me as well. 🙂

These slippers were so fun and easy to do and I love the endless color combinations you can come up with.  It would be fun to do these with a multi-colored yarn with an accent color or some striped yarn I think.  I got the base slipper pattern from Pink Mambo and the flower pattern is from Daisy Cottage Designs.  You could really add any accent you want.

For this pair I used Red Heart Super soft yarn in Berry and Tangerine.  I’m going to need to make a few pairs of these for myself!
